America Wake Up!

The prophet Isaiah, writing in the 8^th century B.C. (recorded in Isaiah chapter 32, verses 1-8) spoke of a king who would be coming in the last days to:

• Open people’s eyes.
• Create understanding in the mind of the rash.
• Cause stammering, unclear tongues to speak fluently.
• Deny the power of the fool to be called noble or scoundrels to be highly respected.

Isaiah 32:1-8

¹ See, a king will reign in righteousness and rulers will rule with justice. ² Each man will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land. ³ Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen. ⁴ The mind of the rash will know and understand, and the stammering tongue will be fluent and clear. ⁵ No longer will the fool be called noble nor the scoundrel be highly respected. ⁶ For the fool speaks folly, his mind is busy with evil: He practices ungodliness and spreads error concerning the LORD; the hungry he leaves empty and from the thirsty he withholds water. ⁷ The scoundrel's methods are wicked, he makes up evil schemes to destroy the poor with lies, even when the plea of the needy is just. ⁸ But the noble man makes noble plans, and by noble deeds he stands. ^NIV

Granted that this passage does not speak directly to the American political situation, but rather to the situation in ancient Israel. However, the ideas convey clearly the concepts and ideals that are transferable for the governance of any nation purporting to be Christian. Isaiah’s word speaks of a future event far in his future.

He describes fools and scoundrels and a few of their characteristics that are definitely mirrored in our nation today.

Fools:

• Practice ungodliness and spread error concerning God.
• Leave the hungry empty.
• Withhold water from the thirsty.

Scoundrels:

• Employ wicked methods.
• Make up evil schemes to destroy the poor with lies, even when their plea is just.

The Nobel King who is prophesied to come is obviously not the American President we may elect. But any person worthy of being our President should embody the characteristics of the Nobel King that Isaiah describes. No longer should we be like cattle or sheep being led to the slaughter. No longer can we simply trust those currently in power to do the right thing.

• We must be vigilant.
• We must act.
• We must hold our leaders accountable.

The coming king will:

• Make noble plans.
• Stand by noble deeds.

We are currently being led by the fools and scoundrels of whom Isaiah speaks. Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Gore and their ilk have acted to flush this once God-fearing, moral nation down the drain. Don’t be naïve.

Being led by fallible human beings, yes the United States of America has made mistakes. But the collective heart of the nation is righteous despite the efforts of immoral, selfish, ignoble so-called educators to divert and shape the minds of the generations in whom they have implanted their poisonous ideology.

Obama, et al, and the educators of the NEA have spoken lies intended to deceive the ignorant, murder the innocent by empowering acts of abortion and perform other acts of evil. And they have the audacity to expect us to believe that what they propose is right. Wake up America!!

But the veil is being lifted on their schemes through events like Tea Parties and local meetings calling and holding legislators to account for their acquiesces to the evil being perpetrated against America from within. One does not have to cite the pronouncements of men like Nikita Khrushchev, Lenin, Olinsky to become aware of the insidious efforts being promulgated against this nation. And yet it is those very ideas that are underlying the efforts of our nation's leadership!

Enough is enough America! Let’s act to take back our nation from the forces of abject evil!!

• Vote to replace ineffective legislators locally and nationally.
• Deny them the continued power to rule.
• Change the law (and Constitution as necessary) to deny legislators the power to set up special rules for themselves exempting them from the rules for everyone else.

¹⁴ if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. ^NIV

Where Are We Going?

Where are we going and why are we in a hand basket? This question accurately captures the situation our nation has been put in by Obama and his sycophants. Some allegedly moral legislators one had assumed to have personal integrity have joined the effort to systematically eviscerate our nation and have sold this nation down the river for personal gain.

We are now “circling the drain” even faster with the weight of the single most stupid legislation enacted by Congress in our history. The few sham benefits of this so-called Health Care bill come nowhere near to justifying the cost to America in jobs and our already shell-shocked economy.

America—this should be our wake-up call to give a message to ALL members of this corrupt Congress that we intend to do everything in our power to send them home.

The downside of sending the current membership of the House and Senate home is the embedded cadre of legislative staffers who present a seemingly immovable object of a lifetime of government service (or disservice as it actually is) and who, if allowed to remain in Washington, will provide a base for corruption of the values of any new legislators we send to Washington.

It will take people of the integrity level of a “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” to resist being corrupted. Too many of these lifetime staffers know “where the bodies are buried” and thus can pollute new people we send to set the rules for running this country. Newly-elected legislators refusing to continue employment (or re-employment) of the embedded corruption of this once great nation will remedy the situation. Remove the abject evil-doers from influence!

Only God can help us at this point, but we must prove ourselves genuinely repentant and ready to acknowledge Him to see this land healed from its ills.

527 Groups Try to Counter Tea Party Efforts

Democrats/Liberal’s Answer to the Tea Party Movement

IRS-classified “527” groups are being formed to counter the largely successful Tea Party groups that have restored a modicum of sanity in several regions of the country as a result of Obama and other liberal’s efforts to shanghai control of the American economy and political machine.

Quoting from a February 10, 2010 GOPOUSA article by Bobby Eberle, “The results [of the Tea Party movement] have been nothing short of incredible. Two gubernatorial victories in New Jersey and Virginia were followed by the stunning upset victory of Scott Brown in Massachusetts. All of these were made possible in part through the anti-big-government, power to the people message that embodies the Tea Party movement. But watch out! Now the left-wing has had enough, and they are forming their own "grassroots" effort to stop the Tea Party momentum. However, it's not grassroots at all. “

Eberle goes on to say,

“In response to the success of the Tea Party movement comes a new anti-Tea Party effort. Dubbed "The Tea Party is Over," the organization seeks to "prevent the Tea Party's dangerous ideas from gaining legislative traction." Dangerous ideas? That's right. That's exactly what the web site states at www.TheTeaPartyIsOver.org.

Our Strategy is simple. This movement is a fad. Some of their ideas include the belief that programs like Social Security and Medicare are socialistic and should never have been created in the first place and that President Obama is a Socialist. Other ideas include undermining the legitimacy of the federal government in favor of a radical rightwing form of state's rights. We need to prevent their dangerous ideas from gaining a legislative foothold. So our strategy is to spread the truth about their dangerous ideas and prevent their policies from taking root in America.”

It is interesting that the IRS chose 527 to designate this class of non-profits given that the Bible in Daniel 5:27 reports the prophet Daniels description of Belshazzar’s hand-writing on the wall event as “you have been weighed in the balance and found wanting.”

Truly the efforts of Obama, democrats and liberals had been weighed in the balance and found wanting!

Although this is an Idaho senator, anyone can use this site to oppose the legislation. In addition, call or e-mail the senators from your state and let him/her know of your opposition to the bill. You might also want to let your senators know that if they vote for this bill, you will vote them out of office in the next election.

Circling the drain

Obama and his sycophants have our nation’s economy circling the drain.

America wake up! We are being sold down the river by those we elected to lead this country. Our so-called President and his “posse” of self-serving elected and appointed officials have begun the process of dismembering this once-great nation.

The solution is to get them out of office and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.

Nancy Pelosi, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Al Gore, et al should be prevented from taking us any further away from our founding principles. Their vision for the nation is one of full government control of all national functions. Some call that communism, some call it socialism. Either way, it is directly counter to the ideals upon which our founding fathers built this nation.

The inmates are now in charge of the asylum! Free speech is being suppressed; individual rights are being boldly stripped from us. We have become the frog in the kettle, slowing having our rights boiled from our bones.

All this because we have trusted untrustworthy people and allowed ourselves to be mesmerized by the illusionary tactics of insidiously self-serving, evil people who say one thing and do another.

How stupid can we allow ourselves to be, accepting the bad science of man-caused global warming, the falsely proclaimed necessity of government bailouts of corporate America? We ought to be smarter than that!

We have been distracted by the government-caused economic crisis, causing far too many of us to lose our means of employment and forcing us to focus on day-to-day survival instead of watching those responsible for staying the course.

Obama’s policies and proclivity to apologize for our previous economic and cultural successes is placing our country at risk for further terror attacks and making us the laughingstock of the world.

This must stop. Americans — stand up, speak out, and take action to reverse the bad decision to yield to the paid-for, charismatic leadership we put in place!

Breaking Covenants

John Hagee, in a narrative about an interview held with Walid Shoebat, trained from his youth to become a PLO terrorist and suicide bomber who converted to Christianity in his twenties, wrote in Jerusalem Countdown, that he questioned Shoebat about whether lying is acceptable in Islam for the purpose of advancing the Islamic faith.

Shoebat answered: "Yes. Lying is acceptable to make peace between husband and wife, and another occasion is in jihad. Pastor, you can lie to the husband, and you can lie to the wife, and say, 'He loves you,' 'She loves you,' so the two can get along. This is lying in the minor ele­ment. But lying is the major element in jihad.

"Covenant-breaking is the major issue in Islam. You don't want to break covenant because Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, in the Hudaybiyya treaty with Quraysh, broke the covenant. He was critiqued by his Muslim followers, and he said, 'There is no cov­enant with unbelievers.'

"In fact, Pastor Hagee, when I confronted my father as I was preparing to leave home, it was the last words I had with my father. I purchased land from our father, and I had the bill of sale. And as I left, I asked my father, saying, 'Father, I'm not interested in the inheritance. I'm not interested in your blessings. I'm simply inter­ested in the bill of sale that we have.'

"He said, 'Son, you know in Islam we do not have to honor agreements with unbelievers.' So it doesn't matter what covenant you sign; they don't have to honor the covenant. So what's the use of having all these peace treaties? All Christians must look at the word Hudna.

"Hudna in Islam is the process of establishing covenant or a peace treaty with an enemy. And it's done solely for two purposes: one is to gain concessions, as the Palestinians did, and the other is to regain strength.

"This is why Hezbollah accepts Hudna with Israel. It's not the Oslo Peace Accord, as we think. It's the Oslo Hudna Accord in the mind of all Islamics. Gentiles and Jews look at the Oslo Peace Accord and believe it is a valid document, but in the Middle East, we call it the 'Oslo Hudna Accord,' and we never intend to keep the document."

Barack Obama received a portion of his early education in Indonesia, a prominent Islamic country at an age when the human mind is susceptible to molding and shaping as to thought patterns.

Obama thinks like a Muslim. He was taught Quranic thinking as a child: Tell the infidels what they want to hear and then do whatever you want to anyway, after all, they do not deserve the truth.

Obama fulfills the Biblical warning that in the last days would come people “who speak what their [the public’s] itching ears want to hear.” Many have been beguiled by Obama’s speeches saying the things they want to hear or would like to believe is true, then continuing on to do what he (Obama) has always intended. (cf. 2 Timothy 4:3) He has no intention to actually fulfill what many believe (wrongly) he has said he would do. Thinking like a Muslim, he feels no compulsion to adhere to a “covenant” with infidels (those who don’t think as he does). I am not saying that he is a Muslim (only God knows a man’s heart and beliefs), but he definitely acts like one!

We see similar patterns of thinking in Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran. He says his country is no longer trying to manufacture nuclear material for bombs. Yet, there are a plethora of intelligence reports from several countries belying this assertion.

Obama: Empty Suit

David Freddoso in The Case Against Obama describes Barak Hussein Obama as follows:

• "Obama the orator is cotton candy. You might even enjoy watching him speak sometimes, but you know there’s nothing to any of it.
  
• Obama the author is deeply reflective, it at times shortsighted. He is a committed liberal, but the kind with whom you would really enjoy sipping scotch and having a conversation about almost anything.

Others have described Obama as an “empty suit.”

WiseGeek.com provides a working definition of “empty suit.” “An empty suit tends to refer to a non-important person — perhaps someone puffed up with his own importance but really having little effect on the lives of others. It is often used as an insult to disparage others who really don’t deserve the title. The true empty suit, which conjures up the image of a business suit of clothing without a person, really doesn’t know what he or she is doing. He or she is ineffectual, perhaps a phony, and is about as relevant or helpful as a suit hanging on a rack.

To call someone an empty suit implies that you think they are a complete waste of time. Editorials on politicians love to use the term empty suit to describe people seeking presidential office. This or that politician is just “an empty suit,” to quote the words of numerous political critics, and is thus undeserving of our attention.

Some politicians do deserve the title. A senator with a very poor voting record, or failure to attend senate sessions could clearly be called an empty suit because he is not really performing the job for which he was elected. On the other hand, some politicians may advertise themselves as “not just an empty suit” in order to distinguish themselves from their implied empty suit peers.

Tracing the word origin of empty suit is a difficult one. There is some suggestion in Greek mythology, credited to the Classical Greek playwright Euripides, that Helen, married to Menelaus and stolen by Paris, was actually sequestered on an island by Apollo. Paris actually stole an empty image or empty tunic of Helen, rather than the real woman. Whether we call him cotton candy or empty suit, Barak Obama as a man is so amorphous that nailing him down is like trying to nail Jello to a tree. He appears to be Everyman, yet he consistently works from a deeply hidden script of his own, strongly molded by influential people.

Having a President like Obama attempting to run this once-free nation of independent thinking people much as an Emperor would represents the ultimate danger to the American people.

The Christian Bible records the words of Paul the Apostle in the eleventh chapter of his second letter to the church in Corinth, verses 14 & 15: “Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. It is no surprise then, if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness; they will meet an end which fits their deeds.”

Marilyn Monroe was one such as this: able to present a lovely, enticing, sexy persona to the world; yet empty inside (beyond simply being blond). Her handlers would wind her up and point her in the direction she needed to go and watch an adoring public think she was the best ever. Off-stage she was seen as an empty woman.

Those around the world with their own agenda are already asserting their intention to destroy the Great Satan (us). As long as the United States of America is perceived by the world as weak and indecisive we are at risk. Obama and his papparazzi (Rahm Emmanual, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Franks, Harry Reid, et al) are putting us at risk by their self-serving policies and initiatives.
