Socialism Adopted by Democratic Party

Norman Mattoon Thomas (November 20, 1884 – December 19, 1968) was a leading American socialist, pacifist, and six-time presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America .

The Socialist Party candidate for President of the
US , Norman Thomas, said this in a 1944 speech:

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism.  But, under the name of

"liberalism," they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

He went on to say:  "I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party.

The Democrat Party has adopted our [socialist] platform."

Think about it!!

Obama: A New Nebuchadnezzar?

Nebuchadnezzar was a Babylonian king who was used by God to provide correctional custody to the Jews of the two Southern Israelite tribes (Judah and Benjamin).

Nebuchadnezzar II, one of he greatest and longest-reigning monarchs of Mesopotamia, ruled Babylon from 605 to 562 BC He is mentioned some 90 times in the Old Testament, more than any other foreign king. The Bible records his campaigns against Jerusalem in 604, 597 and 586 B.C., culminating in the captivity of Judah.

God has told Judah through the Prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah that if they failed to obey him, he would designate a foreign king to take them into captivity. God told Jeremiah, “I will summon all the peoples of the north and my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon," declares the LORD, "and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants and against all the surrounding nations. I will completely destroy them and make them an object of horror and scorn, and an everlasting ruin. NIV Jeremiah 25:9

Note that Nebuchadnezzar was described as “my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon” by God in this prophesy.

Nebuchadnezzar was recorded in the biblical book of Daniel to have been overtaken by some sort of delusional disorder, causing him to live as and among the cattle for a period of seven years.

King Nebuchadnezzar later made an image of gold, ninety feet high and nine feet wide, and set it up on the plain of Dura in the province of Babylon for all to worship. He was a man who was “great in his own mind.”

While tolerant of many religions among the people he conquered, Nebuchadnezzar held deep-seated beliefs foreign to many of the subjugated peoples. Nebuchadnezzar was humbled twice by the Israelite, Daniel and his co-religionists, yet did not learn that only through the provision and call of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would he truly know eternal life.

Given the moral decline of the people of the United States and the failure of conservative Christians to comply with God’s guidance, could it be that Obama is the new Nebuchadnezzar for our nation? Obama is a man who, by all reports, is working solely for his own profit and that of others who think like him. Not all who work with him within the political sphere have the best interests of the American people in mind. Many are morally bankrupt and corrupt in their approach to government service.

If Barak Obama is the new Nebuchadnezzar, we can expect to endure much tribulation in the next four years: Reversal of Constitutional rights, introduction of Marxist and Socialist principles, and removal of current levels of free speech subsumed under the pseudo heading of national security initiatives.

We cannot fail to use our rights of free speech while we still have them. Use them or Lose them!

Citizens must not remain complaisant and expect that elected representatives will automatically serve the public.

Open a web browser and go to this link if you need to discover the contact information for your elected representatives: http://directory.usayfoundation.org/

This site lists names and contact information of governors, congress(wo)men, and senators and you can download their contact information in a vCard (.vcf) format to import into Microsoft Outlook and any other PDF using that format. Economic Terrorism

This video shows that George Bush tried to warn Congress starting in 2001 that this economic crisis was coming, if something was not done.  But congress refused to listen, along with Barney Franks.  This video says it all.

The liberal AMERICAN media did not want this video on You Tube, so they had Time Warner threaten a law suit (proprietary rights) if it was not taken off.

This link is of the same video but is routed through Canada .  Everyone in America needs to see this!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMnSp4qEXNM&NR=1

I call for a RICO indictment against the politicians who were warned and yet continued to support ignorant, corrupt  policies: Barney Frank and Charles Schumer. These incompetent legislators (and others unknown to me, both Democrats and gutless Republicans) have acted in ways inimitable to the interests of the United States as well as the world we tend to lead. In a time of war against terrorism, these traitors should be deposed from office and additionally punished to the fullest extent of the law!

Extinction of Morals

Samuel Adams, one of our nation’s founders, wisely noted from his religious training, life and attitude that:

“Revelation assures us that ‘Righteousness exalteth a Nation’—Communities are dealt with in this World by the wise and just Ruler of the Universe. He rewards or punishes them according to their general Character. The diminution of publick Virtue is usually attended with that of publick Happiness, and the publick Liberty will not long survive the total Extinction of Morals.”

The current condition of our nation’s populous and more so of those elected to represent them reveals that we may be in for some tough times in the near future.

Recent reports of moral and integrity failures among our elected officials serve to highlight the depth of the problem. As stated so well by Walt Kelly in the now extinct Pogo cartoon series so many years ago, "We have met the enemy and he is us." Corrupt, and often moneyed, politicians have managed to blind people to their true agenda and thus seduced voters into placing them in office where they can further line their pockets with money generated from the labors of the public.

The devolution of morality in the United States, pointed out even by our enemies and those inclined to terrorist acts, does not bode well for us and our future liberty. We are too much in debt to those not our friends.

Without a return to the solid values recommended by the Christian Bible: Humility, integrity, self-denial, courage, commitment, honor, etc. we place our liberty at risk.

We no longer have the option of assuming the political system is acting in our best interests. We must closely follow the initiatives and decisions and depose those who demonstrably serve themselves instead of the public.

Global Warming Hoax

Christopher Horner, in his book, Red Hot Lies, identifies the corruption behind the Global Warming hoax that has become so endemic if one can believe the press and lies of its proponents.

  • How the global warming industry is made up of lifestyle nags and nanny-statists who are seeking to curtail our liberties -- backed by "green" industries who want the state to create mandates and hike subsidies
  • How Big Government [Barak Obama, Nancy Pelosi, John McCain, et al], politicians and global warming nutjobs [like Al Gore] are abusing power in the pursuit of even more power, as environmental alarmists knowingly spread false and exaggerated data on global warming
  • How, in the Left's efforts to suppress free speech (and scientific research), they have compared global warming dissent with "treason"
  • How the liberal media lie and conceal the truth while the global warming establishment moves ruthlessly to crush dissent and ruin the lives of dissenters
  • How that establishment, not content to dominate the mainstream media, is even propagandizing children, and not hesitating to use alarmist scare tactics to do so
  • Proof that most scientists are actually global warming skeptics
  • Power-hungry politicians blacklist scientists who reject global warming alarmism...
  • U.S. Senators threaten companies that fund climate-change dissenters...
  • Mainstream media outlets openly reject the notion of "balance"...
  • Unscrupulous scientists candidly admit the need to twist the facts to paint an uglier picture in order to keep the faucet of government money flowing...
  • In the name of "saving the planet," anything goes.

If you are interested in reading it, go to: https://members.humaneventsonline.com/order.php?offer=1413 and order a copy.

My personal thought is that there needs to be a responsible evaluation of this hoax for prosecution under the RICO Act.

We Were Warned

Our founding fathers warned us of the character of fallen human nature and the necessity of retaining high standards and values to avoid descent into an immoral and corruption society.

Thomas Jefferson, skilled thinker and wise observer of humankind, said:

  • "Political interest [can] never be separated in the long run from moral right." —Thomas Jefferson to James Monroe, 1806.
  • "The human character, we believe, requires in general constant and immediate control to prevent its being biased from right by the seductions of self-love." —Thomas Jefferson to Pierre Samuel Dupont de Nemours, 1816.
  • "I have never been able to conceive how any rational being could propose happiness to himself from the exercise of power over others." —Thomas Jefferson to A. L. C. Destutt de Tracy, 1811.
  • "Leave no authority existing not responsible to the people." —Thomas Jefferson to Isaac H. Tiffany, 1816.
  • "Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed." —Thomas Jefferson: Declaration of Independence, 1776.
  • "Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established, should not be changed for light and transient causes... But, when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is [the people's] right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security." —Thomas Jefferson: Declaration of Independence, 1776.
  • "Aristocrats fear the people, and wish to transfer all power to the higher classes of society." —Thomas Jefferson to William Short, 1825.
  • "Aristocrats fear the people, and wish to transfer all power to the higher classes of society." —Thomas Jefferson to William Short, 1825.
  • "No other depositories of power [but the people themselves] have ever yet been found, which did not end in converting to their own profit the earnings of those committed to their charge." —Thomas Jefferson to Samuel Kercheval, 1816.
  • "I know no safe depositary of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education.  This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power." —Thomas Jefferson to William C. Jarvis, 1820.
  • "If once [the people] become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, Judges and Governors, shall all become wolves.  It seems to be the law of our general nature, in spite of individual exceptions." —Thomas Jefferson to Edward Carrington, 1787.
  • "Where the law of the majority ceases to be acknowledged, there government ends; the law of the strongest takes its place, and life and property are his who can take them." —Thomas Jefferson to Annapolis Citizens, 1809.
  • "It is a happy truth that man is capable of self-government, and only rendered otherwise by the moral degradation designedly superinduced on him by the wicked acts of his tyrant." —Thomas Jefferson to M. de Marbois, 1817.
  • "Were we directed from Washington when to sow and when to reap, we should soon want bread." —Thomas Jefferson: Autobiography, 1821.
  • "If we can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them, they must become happy." —Thomas Jefferson to Thomas Cooper, 1802
  • "We must make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude." —Thomas Jefferson to Samuel Kercheval, 1816.

Jefferson’s exhortations and cautionary comments serve to highlight some of the problems in the devolution of our society that must be addressed in public forum and seriously considered in the legislature. The moral degradation and corruption cited by Jefferson is endemic among our representatives today.

We can no longer sit idly by and allow morally weak men and women to make decisions for the population of the United States.

Samuel Adams said:

  • “He who is void of virtuous attachments in private life is, or very soon will be, void of all regard for his country. There is seldom an instance of a man guilty of betraying his country, who had not before lost the feeling of moral obligations in his private connections.
  • “The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending against all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks.
  • “The natural liberty of man is to be free from any superior power on Earth, and not to be under the will or legislative authority of man, but only to have the law of nature for his rule.

As Adams said so well, “It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds.

John Adams said:

  • "We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." October 11, 1798

Did John Adams imply that when society’s values drop so low, we must change our constitution to allow for the moral devolution and corruption of society to set new, lower standards for our nation? By no means!! Standing in the muck and mire of our so-called “modern” world, we must instead raise our eyes to the heavens and begin again the journey of rediscovery of the principles God designed us to be guided by.

An example from history should suffice to give us pause as we head into a new regime in our federal government.

When the Israelites became enamored with the nations surrounding them, they demanded a king so they could be just like the other nations. Samuel, Judge and Prophet, after discussing it with God in prayer, warned them:

“. . . This is what the king who will reign over you will do: He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots. Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his attendants. He will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants. Your menservants and maidservants and the best of your cattle and donkeys he will take for his own use. He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves. When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, and the LORD will not answer you in that day."” 1 Samuel 8:11-18 NIV

Beware of the promises of morally bankrupt deceivers!

Morals and Integrity of our Founding Fathers

"When we come to the moral principles on which the government is to be administered, we come to what is proper for all conditions of society.  Liberty, truth, probity, honor, are declared to be the four cardinal principles of society.  I believe that morality, compassion, generosity, are innate elements of the human constitution; that there exists a right independent of force." —Thomas Jefferson to Pierre Samuel Dupont de Nemours, 1816.

He who is void of virtuous attachments in private life is, or very soon will be, void of all regard for his country. There is seldom an instance of a man guilty of betraying his country, who had not before lost the feeling of moral obligations in his private connections. Samuel Adams

"When [the moral sense] is wanting, we endeavor to supply the defect by education, by appeals to reason and calculation, by presenting to the being so unhappily conformed, other motives to do good and to eschew evil, such as the love, or the hatred, or the rejection of those among whom he lives, and whose society is necessary to his happiness and even existence; demonstrations by sound calculation that honesty promotes interest in the long run; the rewards and penalties established by the laws; and ultimately the prospects of a future state of retribution for the evil as well as the good done while here.  These are the correctives which are supplied by education, and which exercise the functions of the moralist, the preacher, and legislator; and they lead into a course of correct action all those whose depravity is not too profound to be eradicated." —Thomas Jefferson to Thomas Law, 1814.
"When wrongs are pressed because it is believed they will be borne, resistance becomes morality." —Thomas Jefferson to M. deStael, 1807.
"Leave no authority existing not responsible to the people." —Thomas Jefferson to Isaac H. Tiffany, 1816.

The Constitution shall never be construed... to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms. Samuel Adams

"The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive.  It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all." —Thomas Jefferson to Abigail Adams, 1787.

Tricks and treachery are the practice of fools, that don't have brains enough to be honest. Benjamin Franklin

There is no kind of dishonesty into which otherwise good people more easily and frequently fall than that of defrauding the government. Benjamin Franklin

The strictest law sometimes becomes the severest injustice. Benjamin Franklin

Rebellion against tyrants is obedience to God. Benjamin Franklin

Half a truth is often a great lie. Benjamin Franklin

Even peace may be purchased at too high a price. Benjamin Franklin

A learned blockhead is a greater blockhead than an ignorant one. Benjamin Franklin

Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples' liberty's teeth. George Washington

If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter. George Washington

It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible. George Washington

Labor to keep alive in your breast that little spark of celestial fire, called conscience. George Washington

The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good. George Washington

We should not look back unless it is to derive useful lessons from past errors, and for the purpose of profiting by dearly bought experience. George Washington

A profitable bit of searching will lead the diligent person to the following website which contains a plethora of good quotes of many of our nation’s founding fathers: http://www.eadshome.com/QuotesoftheFounders.htm

The above reveals clearly that we have fallen from the lofty intents of our founding fathers who demonstrated clear moral values.

New Plan to Help Aid Recovery of the U.S.Economy

If we were smart enough, we could re-purpose almost $338 billion dollars a year toward recover from the current poor economy.

Where will the $338 billion come from? Proper handling of illegal aliens; closing our borders to illegals & deportation.

Unlike almost any other country in the world, we currently spend the following on illegal aliens:

Welfare: $11 Billion to $22 billion annually is spent on welfare for illegal aliens by state governments. See http://tinyurl.com/zob77 . We could avoid the state bailout requests.

Food Assistance: $2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens. See http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html. Of course we should not let anyone starve, but we should eliminate the problem by deporting illegal aliens.

Medicaid: $2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens. See http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html. If they were deported as any other nation would do, the problem would be significantly reduced.

Schooling: $12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English! See http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.0.html.

$17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.  See http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html. If illegals are deported they would reduce the burden on our school system.

Jails: $3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens. See:  http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html. 30% percent of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens. See: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt..01.html.

Welfare & Social Services: $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare & social services by the American taxpayers. See: http://premium.cnn.com/TRANSCIPTS/0610/29/ldt.01.html. Illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's two and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens.  In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US. See: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0606/12/ldt.01.html.

Crime: 'The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration: Nearly One million sex crimes Committed by Illegal Immigrants In The United  States .'  See: http: // www.drdsk.com/articleshtml.

Suppressed Wages: $200 Billion dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens. See: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt..01.html.

Drugs: During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 million illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries.  Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroin and marijuana, crossed into the U. S from the Southern border. See: Homeland Security Report: http://tinyurl.com/t9sht.

Hemorrhaging of American Dollars: In 2006 illegal aliens sent home $45 billion in remittances to their countries of origin.  See: http://www.rense.com/general75/niht.htm.

Deportation Costs: The National policy Institute, estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and  $230 billion or an average cost of between  $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.' See:  http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/pdf/deportation.pdf

Ask President Bush to Pardon Compeon and Ramos

In an article entitled: I Beg Your Pardon, Mr. President, Doug Patton presents an excellent case for imploring President George W. Bush to pardon two Border Patrol agents who were simply doing their job and have been convicted and incarcerated for doing their duty. A clear travesty of justice!

Patton opines:

“For George W. Bush, the case of Border Patrol Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean is a stench in the nostrils of every thinking American who loves justice.

One night in February 2005, Mexican drug smuggler Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila drove his van illegally across the border from Mexico to the United States carrying 743 pounds of marijuana. When confronted by Agents Ramos and Compean, Aldrete-Davila tried to flee back across the border. The agents, thinking they saw a weapon in the suspect's hand, opened fire, hitting him in the buttocks. He continued to flee and managed to escape back into Mexico.

Federal prosecutors gave Aldrete-Davila blanket immunity to return to the U.S. and testify against the agents. Ramos and Compean were subsequently convicted of assault with a deadly weapon and violation of civil rights.

Ramos got 11 years in prison. Compean got 12 years.”

Nationally ranked talk-show-host Glenn Beck has presented a clear case for reversing this travesty as have Rush Limbaugh and others in numerous blogs representing the voice of concerned Americans.

We cannot expect those assigned to guard our borders to do their jobs if we fail to protect them!

Patton goes on to say:

“It also turns out that this low-life drug smuggler re-entered the United States at least 10 different times in 2005 and that he was caught smuggling drugs while he was waiting to testify against Ramos and Compean. These facts were not brought up at their trial. . . . These men put their lives on the line for us just as surely as our brave troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and justice demands a full presidential pardon.”

I totally agree with Doug Patton, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and others advocating the release of Ignacio Compeon and Jose Ramos.

Call, write and/or e-mail the White House to urge President Bush to pardon these men. Do it today! The window of opportunity is closing rapidly.

Go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/ to learn the phone number, mailing address and e-mail address of the White House.

Contacting Your Elected Officials

Open a web browser and go to this link if you need to discover the contact information for your elected representatives: http://directory.usayfoundation.org/

This site lists names and contact information of governors, congress(wo)men, and senators and you can download their contact information in a vCard (.vcf) format to import into Microsoft Outlook and any other PDF using that format.

Most Important!

Write, phone, e-mail or buttonhole him/her (when they actually get back to your region) to give them input about your ideas, concerns, and interests.

We can no longer allow unsupervised elected officials to run rampant with our money, morals and integrity!

We must no longer simply talk about the poor job our legislators are doing. Instead, we must address them directly and challenge them to listen to us, stand up and require them to answer for any areas in which they lack integrity.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? is a Latin phrase from the Roman poet Juvenal, variously translated as "Who watches the watchmen?", "Who watches the watchers?", "Who will guard the guards?", "Who shall watch the watchers themselves?"

Tony Blankley wrote, "As White House health care czar, it is a fair guess that Tom Daschle's view on health care legislation may be decisive."

He (Daschle) proposes the establishment of a Federal Health Board which will function to set the rules for who gets what level of health care (treatment, tests, etc.) taking away the judgment of physicians and other health care professionals.

Talk about fascism!

Tony Blankley, an article entitled, “Daschle-Obama Health Care Possibilities,” reported that, “on Page 179, he writes, "The Federal Health Board wouldn't be a regulatory agency, but its recommendations would have teeth because all federal health programs would have to abide by them." But here is the kicker: Although his board technically would have no say on the 68 percent of health care that is provided through the private sector, at the bottom of Page 179, Daschle modestly adds: "Congress could opt to go further with the Board's recommendations. It could, for example, link the tax exclusion for health insurance to insurance that complies with the Board's recommendation."

Blankley comments imply that, in essence, we would be letting the fox into the henhouse! The Federal Health Board, if empowered as Daschle proposes would be able to work without prior public knowledge of their deliberations and decisions. Truly, who watches the watchers?

Last Best Hope on Earth

In an article published in the London Daily Mail just after the election entitled, “The night we waved goodbye to America... our last best hope on Earth,” Peter Hitchens lamented Barak Obama’s election to fill the office of President of the United States.

In the article, Hitchens stated,

“I really don't see how the Obama devotees can ever in future mock the Moonies, the Scientologists or people who claim to have been abducted in flying saucers. This is a cult like the one which grew up around Princess Diana, bereft of reason and hostile to facts.

It already has all the signs of such a thing. The newspapers which recorded Obama's victory have become valuable relics. You may buy Obama picture books and Obama calendars and if there isn't yet a children's picture version of his story, there soon will be.

Proper books, recording his sordid associates, his cowardly voting record, his astonishingly militant commitment to unrestricted abortion and his blundering trip to Africa, are little-read and hard to find.

If you can believe that this undistinguished and conventionally Left-wing machine politician is a sort of secular saviour, then you can believe anything. He plainly doesn't believe it himself. His cliché-stuffed, PC clunker of an acceptance speech suffered badly from nerves.  It was what you would expect from someone who knew he'd promised too much and that from now on the easy bit was over.

He needn't worry too much. From now on, the rough boys and girls of America's Democratic Party apparatus, many recycled from Bill Clinton's stained and crumpled entourage, will crowd round him, to collect the rich spoils of his victory and also tell him what to do, which is what he is used to.”

Obama can’t even pull the wool over the eyes of our British friends! We are the ones duped by this master illusionist! Shame on us for allowing ourselves to be seduced and elect a person unqualified and clearly not ready to provide the leadership we need in Washington.
